1. Stranger Things season 4 release date: When will it air?
Well for a fact, no one knows yet so don't bother ransacking the internet or other websites for the release date. But based on the previous seasons, we can deduce some facts.
It took 15 months from the first season (July 2016) to the second (October 2017) and 21 months before season 3 (July 2019); based on months, season 4 was expected in October 2020 but due to the pause in production filming began in october instead.
We also know that three episodes have already been filmed (in three weeks) before the corona outbreak so we know for a fact that we won't wait that long before the season get released.
Another theory is that Stranger Things 1 - 3 get released on holidays. It's not a great theory but it's something.
Judging from holiday release, we the fans expected the season to be released in December (Christmas) or January (New year) thereabout. But since filming just resumed Two weeks ago, we can't tell when it's gonna be released.
2. Stranger Things season 4 cast: Who's returning and who's not?
The issue of new characters is quite tricky cos let's face it, it's a suprise for us and it's quite a sensitive info which i don't think Netflix is willing to give out yet. But, from the Stranger Things Season 4 table read video NetFlix posted, we bacame sure of some characters like the regulars - Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Sadie Sink (Max), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Joe Keery (Steve), Cara Buono (Karen), Winona Ryder (Joyce), Noah Schnapp (Will), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and, of course, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven).
Also from our strange valentines gift David Harbour's (Hopper) was confirmed alive and still kicking, Tom Wlaschiha, who played ‘Faceless Man’ Jaqen H’ghar in HBO’s series Game of Thrones, appears set to play a mysterious Russian soldier.
Maya Hawke (Robin) and Priah Ferguson (Erica) were also confirmed as "new regulars" giving their much participation in the previous season.
Another strange character confirmed from the table read video is Ross Partridge (Lonnie Byers)... Yeah you heard that right, Joyce never caring, selfish ex who is also wills "absent from his life" dad who returned during the first season to collect the money gotten from wills' funeral.
Sadly Billy (Dacre Montgomery) is certainly dead (even though we aren't sure cos come on it's stranger things we're talking about. Strange things happen).
3. Stranger Things season 4 spoilers and plot: What will happen?
One of the best features of Netflix directors, writers, producers, even VFX Editors and most especially casts is their ability to keep the "PLOT SAFE" till release date; even after countless interviews and podcast. It's one of their "CONTRACT RULES" Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) said while eating a very spicy chicken lap in the Truth or Dab show.

5. Stranger Things Season 4 Episode Count And Titles
To make things spookier, the Stranger Things writers have given out the title of the first episode of season 4: "Chapter One: The Hellfire Club." #mindblowing
If you think back a little in Season One, Episode One, Titled: "The Vanishing of Will Byers", during Will and Dustin's bike race home, Will says he'll "take his X-Men #134", the exact same comic in which the X-Men retaliate against "The Hellfire Club" with the Phoenix... You feel the connection too right, let's keep going.
The spooky title might also be a reference to an English organisation in the 1700s, involving rich young gentlemen who were involved in drinking, scandalous activities, and possibly satanic worship.
Other Released episode title includes:-
Chapter 2 - ‘Tick Tok Mr Clock’
Chapter 3 - ‘You Snooze You Lose’
Chapter 4 - ‘Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey’
6. This Is Gonna Be A Pretty Scary Season
Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), recently spoke about the spookyness of the upcoming season of Stranger Things in an interview with Total Film Magazine. He Said
“Oh man, it’s pretty amazing - the Duffer brothers have really done it again,” Keery said. “I think that this year - and I know I say this every single year - but this is definitely going to be a lot scarier than prior years, because last year was pretty dark.”
7. We'll Learn More About Chief Hopper's
During an interview at Comic Con, David Harbour told fans that Stranger Things's fourth season will reveal secrets from his character's past.
“In Season 2, Eleven wanders into the basement of the hoppers cabin and there’s five boxes, labelled Hawkins Lab, Dad, Vietnam, New York. So If these things aren't elaborated on in this scene, well, that means that they are bad writers and they aren't. I know specifically that in season 4 we will give you a big, huge reveal about Hopper’s background story relating to things he’s doing with Eleven and Joyce and things like that.” and i'm very excited to share that with you guys.”
8. Is this the last season of Stranger Things?
If there's one things we're sure about, is that season 4 isn't the last season. Though Netflix has yet to confirm that Stranger Things will return for a fifth season, the show's Duffer brothers have opened up about the series' future. Speaking with THR, the brothers were asked if Season 4 would be the end of Stranger Things. To which, Ross Duffer replied,
“Season four won't be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
Incredible news for fans. So bring on Season 5!
9. Stranger Things Season 4 Filming Setting
One of the most important questions we have right now, however, concerns when the new season will be set. Not just the month – as we’ve discussed above – but also the year.
The first three seasons have been set in November 1983, October 1984 and July 1985, respectively, so it would be continuing an established pattern if Stranger Things season 4 took place the following year, in 1986. But we wouldn’t be surprised if the show gave 1986 a miss entirely and jumped straight on to 1987.
This theory owes more to the fact that the teenage cast are ageing significantly faster in real-life than they are in the show.
Although only 20 months have passed in Hawkins time since the story began for Eleven, Mike, Dustin and the rest, the actors have aged more than three years in the real world – and it’ll be at least another 18 months before we see them in action again. Increasing the in-show gap between seasons would be a good way to address the stars getting older – especially as Shawn Levy says the show’s creative team can’t make episodes any quicker.
“Probably once a week we say to ourselves we really should work faster, Then within moments we realise, ‘Oh wait, we’re working at the speed we can work at.’ However, it takes what it takes to do it right. Because we’re not really able to change the pace it’s a reason why we simply embrace the evolution of our actors – we don’t have an option.”
10. Change In Filming Location Of Season 4
Filming for the fourth season began in February 2020 in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the recently decommissioned Lukiškės Prison. After production wrapped in Lithuania, filming resumed in the United States in and around the Atlanta metro area, the primary production location of previous seasons. A significant portion of filming will also occur at Albuquerque Studios in New Mexico, which Netflix acquired in 2018. - source: wiki
The location shift makes sense, as the end of season 3 saw the Byers family moving away from Hawkins with Eleven. Stranger Things is set in Indiana but primarily filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, so it's possible that New Mexico is just a new filming location and not the new fictional setting. Nonetheless, it makes you wonder where Joyce, Will, Jonathan, and Eleven will be moving to, and how it will affect the dynamic between the characters left behind in Hawkins.
